The print edition and the data behind the book are available as separate files. The web edition is the reading copy; the PDF is the same book in a fixed A4 layout for printing, sharing or reading without a connection.

URC 2027: Engineering Design Analysis

The complete book in A4, with the cover, the contents, all eleven parts and the appendices. The web edition adds the full source list, the asset gallery, the video library and the interactive tables.

The print edition is laid out for A4 and does not reflow. It carries the same source identifiers as the web edition, so a claim can be followed in either copy.

Data tables

Every interactive table has a CSV export. These are the same values the pages use, with the source identifier in the row where one exists, so a table can be reopened in a spreadsheet or checked against the page it came from.

Table Rows Download
Results, 2022-2026 187 results.csv
Requirements 155 requirements.csv
Engineering problems 110 problems.csv
Risks 70 risks.csv
Open questions 77 questions.csv
Mass and power data 103 mass-power.csv
Teams and census 70 teams.csv
Sources 1,251 sources.csv
Assets 307 assets.csv

The mass and power export covers the seven tables F.1 to F.7, from the 17 rover configurations to the pack and electrical load lines, and it is the data behind the mass and power analysis. The sources export is the whole bibliography in one file, and the assets export lists every figure with its author, year and licence.

Archived documents

The rulebooks, the official score sheets and the 2027 Q&A snapshot are kept as archived copies, because live competition pages change. The primary documents page lists all 117 files by group and links to each one. The documents used most often are:

Figures and full resolution

Every figure on a page links to its full-resolution file, and the page states the sample the chart was drawn from. The asset index lists all 307 media files with author, year, description, licence and source, and the gallery shows the same set filterable by subject.

File formats

Format What it holds What opens it
PDF The print edition, and the archived rulebooks Any PDF reader
CSV The nine data tables, UTF-8 with a header row Any spreadsheet
XLSX The official score workbooks, 2022-2026 Excel, LibreOffice
TXT and HTML Extracted text and saved pages from official URC documents Any text editor or browser

What a download is not

A CSV is extracted data, not an official record. The official score sheets remain the authority for a result, and the rulebook remains the authority for a requirement. Where the two disagree, the archived primary document wins.
