Gallery

Every figure on this site comes from the same collection: 307 files, each with a caption, a credit and, where one exists, a link to the original. The collection mixes charts computed from score sheets and mass data with photographs and video frames published by teams. The gallery holds the whole set in one place, filterable by topic and file type.

What the collection contains

Four groups account for every file, and each carries a different kind of evidence. The caption and credit say which is which.

Group Files What it supports
Computed charts 36 Score distributions, mass and power, interfaces, failure taxonomy
Subsystem material 151 Hardware choices, mounting, packaging and test setups
Team-published material 108 Rover layouts, mechanisms and results, in 27 team folders
Competition and site material 12 Task hardware, field conditions and event photographs

The formats follow the purpose: 176 photographs in JPEG and WebP, 110 PNG files that are mostly charts, 11 SVG diagrams, and 10 PDF datasheets and papers. Vector diagrams are used where a redrawn label has to stay sharp, and the PDFs are kept because a datasheet is the evidence for a part specification.

How an image is credited

Each figure carries its credit line under the caption. Where the author or team is known, the credit names them and the year. Where the source published a licence, the licence is printed; where no licence is stated, the credit links to the original page so the terms can be checked. The full-resolution file is linked beside every image, and a chart caption links the data behind the chart.

What a photograph can settle

A photograph is strong evidence for a layout, a mounting or a component choice. It is weak evidence for a mass, a score or a speed, because a camera does not measure. A frame taken from video is treated as inference where it carries a claim, and a number always resolves to a document, a score sheet or a measured test, never to a picture.

  • The video library holds the films and the short clips cut from them.
  • The asset index lists every file with its author, year and source.
  • The credits page states how team and vendor material is reused.
